Sammanika Singh the young talented artist from Doon Valley has created her presence in the Bollywood. Yes, she belongs to Dehradun, Uttrakhand. From educational point of view she is alumni of Convent of Jesus and Mary School & Amity unitversity, Noida. Talking to Dwarka Parichay she told that her family connection to film Industry is very close for many years.

Her grandfather Late Chaudhry Anand Singh was closely associated with the film industry and was passionate about acting. He was close friends with many eminent veteran personalities of the industry like Shri Bharat Bhushan, Shri K.N Singh, Shri Shyaam, Shri Ramanand Sagar, Shri K.L Sehgal, Shri W.Z Ahmed, Mrs. M.S Zohra Sehgal & many others.

Sammanika started her journey in a film production company in the production department & assisted as an assistant director in a few corporate films and documentaries. Meanwhile she got an offer to a role in a telefilm for pogo channel which she willingly accepted and that’s how she made her debut in acting career.

This good beginning brought her many more opportunities in Bollywood and after that she acted in episodes like Adaalat, CID, Yeh hain ashiqui, Encounter, Heroes, Emotional Attyachar to name a few. She even acted in a film called ‘The Shaukeens’ which released in november last year. She also worked in more than 50 episodes of Jodha Akbar as Zilbahaar.


She nature lover. Swimming, Yoga, Dancing, Reading, interacting with people are her hobbies. She believes that where there is a will there is a way & Hardwork is the key to success.

She firmly believes that her journey as an actor has been exciting and there is still a long way to go. Improving oneself in every possible way brings self-satisfaction.
