Students of The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka are geared up to celebrate ‘Go Green Week’ from July 8th-14th July 2017 with fervor and gaiety. ‘Tree Plantation Drive’ was the first activity of the Green Week celebration and students wholeheartedly participated in the Drive on July 7, 2017. They planted various types of saplings like Neem, Tulsi, Jasmine, different types of Ferns, Gulmohar and many others. Students showed great enthusiasm in planting them.

The Principal, in her address laid emphasis on the importance of trees and plants and encouraged the students to plant a tree on their birthdays. The school gardener helped the students in planting various saplings and watering the plants. As a part of the celebrations students of Step-II went for a Nature Walk to a nearby park. They appreciated the shade that the trees offered on a warm sunny day, got excited to see the squirrels and butterflies in the park. Tree Plantation Drive at the school was a great fun and learning experience for everyone.
