Teacher’s Day Celebrated at The Indian heights School

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety at The Indian Heights School on September 5, 2017. To honour all the teachers who had been instrumental in shaping their lives, a spectacular show was put up by the students.

The event commenced with the school Principal Ms Archana Narain paying a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, scholar, teacher and first Vice- President of the country, in whose memory Teachers’ Day is celebrated. In her address, she applauded all the teachers for their invaluable contribution and further reminded the student populace to follow the great ideals to remain focused on their objectives and goals to move ahead in life. Students from the Little Steps and Primary wing set the tone of the Teacher’s Day celebrations with a special fun filled program comprising of skit, Riddles, RaxMatazz Dancing Divas and games. 
 During a special cultural program organized by the senior students teachers were felicitated with a card and rose flower. Amazing dance performances, group song and orchestral performances won the appreciation of one and all. The program culminated with the cake cutting ceremony by the School Principal and the members of the student council. On this occasion the school Management also conveys their hearty wishes to all the faculty members of TIHS.
