GREEN COLOUR DAY CELEBRATED BY Lil’ ones at TIHS

‘Green is the prime colour of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises’.

The students of Step I and Step II of TIHS celebrated the GREEN COLOUR DAY with a lot of inquisitiveness and enthusiasm on Friday, April 27, 2018. Dressed in different shades of green, tiny tots looked stunning. Step II foyer area was beautifully decorated on the JUNGLE theme.

Class teachers taught students the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees and also told them that green conveys the message that we should not cut the trees rather plant more and more trees. Students were also introduced to various shades of green like bottle green, parrot green, sea green and olive green.
To celebrate this day with more fun and frolic, students played ‘Musical Chairs’ where when the music stopped they had to identify and sit on the green chairs which they enjoyed a lot. They also drew and coloured in their sketch files the different objects found in green colour. Children recited rhymes on green colour vegetables. At the end of the day, kids were happy to receive the Green Caterpillar as a takeaway.
