Residents of Adhoya were singing and dancing on this tune but suddenly, in the role of villain, Daasi Manthara appears who made Kekayi to prevail upon King Dashrath for the Rajtilak of Bharat and 14-year ‘Vanvaas’ (exile) for Raam. Along with Lord Rama, his brother Laxman and wife Sita also went to exile and this trauma proved fatal and king Dasharath had to give up his life in shock and distress. Though these events are known to almost every body but their presentation was excellent and worth witnessing at the Lila.
Apart from the staging Vanvaas, the volunteers and media persons devoted to the welfare of Dwarka were also facilitated. Some of them were Naveen K. Gautam, Neeraj, Varun (all from Dainik Jagran) Anil Kumar (Delhi Aajtak), M K Gupta (Free-lance Journalist) Robin Sharma, social worker, Mrs. Tina Sharma, Pravesh Seharawat and other leading lights. Mukesh Sinha, patron and editor of Dwarka City also facilitated Rajesh Gahlot, Chief Patron, Councillor and Ex. Dy Mayor of Delhi. Facilitating them who are devoted to the cause of Dwarka sub-city, Rajesh Gahlot said that the 10 days of Dusashra are the occasion to instrospect and mull-over our glorious past and to better our present by learning from our past. He solicited the co-operation of Dwarkaites in the building of grand temple at the newly allotted site (which is at sector 14). He said that the artists from Hyderabad are working for erecting the effigy of longest Raavan of 110 ft. for consigning it to the flames on the day of Vijaya Dashmi. Effigies of Raavana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnad as a symbol Corruption, Terrorism and Price Rise will be consigned to flames on Vijaya Dashmi.
The ground was packed beyond capacity which indicates the popularity of the Lila within a short span of four days started from 28th Sept. The viewers are increasing daily which is a symbol of excellent performance and one should not miss the viewing the grand show to repent later.
