India International Animation and Cartoon Film Festival’s (IIACFF) Launched

Conducted at India’s capital, New Delhi on 2nd April at 6pm in the evening, the India International Animation and Cartoon Film Festival Launch Event happens to be a grand success. The event was organized by PSSAMTEK MEDIA LTD. at The Lalit Hotel situated at Barakhamba Road. Sri Praveen Deshmukh, the Education Minister of Delhi was invited to the launch event as the Chief Guest who congratulated the President Mr. Uday Shankar and Vice-Presidet, Ankush Nandi along with the other team members who were involved in the Festival and claimed animation to be such a creative field where impossible is nothing and an “out of the box” thinking was key. He further shared his childhood love for cartoons especially for the fictional character, Mowgli. The minister promises to provide all necessary help and support on behalf of the Delhi Government to the Animation Film Festival. Lastly, he shares his idea about adding animation as a prominent subject in the school curriculums of Delhi. The famous author and ex Director General of Doordarshan, Mr. Sharad Dutt throws light upon the glorious history of cartoons and animation and claims the event to be a major milestone in the field of animation. Followed by this, India’s leading actor and brand ambassador of The IIACFF Mr. Javed Jaferee gives his best wishes to the entire team of IIACFF through a special video streaming for the event. In the clip, he states that animation is a field of infinite creativity.

The growing utility and success of animation is also being used for the development in Science and Architecture. Congratulating the organizers for their tremendous success, he claims the event as a new hope and motivational factor for the growing industry of Indian Animators. Other important guests present at the event included, famous film-maker and director Mr. Pankaj Sudheer Mishra, actress and director Rajni Basumatary and internationally acclaimed Artist and Painter Nupur Kundu.
