Sukh Dukh Ke Sathee Sanstha organized its ninth tree plantation programme of this monsoon season on 11th August in the DDA Park behind Dream Apartments in Sector-22 Dwarka, with the help of DDA Horticulture Department. This time, tree plantation was planned to fill up the gaps with matching plants to further beautify the park. Few trees of \u2018ficus\u2019 were planted in the gaps along road sides also whereas more than forty saplings of \u2018bottle brush\u2019, \u2018kaner\u2019 and \u2018neem\u2019 were planted inside the park. Second phase of anti-termite treatment was also carried out by the Sanstha members on 8th August to protect the infected \u2018Seesham\u2019 trees on the foot paths of the main road between the sectors-22 and 23. During this programme also, \u2018ficus\u2019 trees were planted in the gaps. The Sanstha had set a target of planting 800 to 1000 saplings during current season. With this programme, the Sansthat crossed its lower end target. The Sanstha members also keep a close watch on survival and proper growth of newly planted as well as existing trees and plants. <\/p>\n

With this programme, the the Sanstha achieved its lower end target of planting eight hundred to one thousand trees and shrubs during current season.
