<\/i><\/b>On 3rd January,2012. Mr. G.S.Patnaik, Vice Chairman, DDA hold a press conference at Conference Hall, Vikas Sadan, New Delhi. While speaking to media person Mr. Patnaik explained few achievements of the year 2011 and new projects and planning of Delhi Development Authority in the year 2012. In his address he revealed that DDA will be taking up about one lakh EWS and LIG flats which are at various stages of planning and construction. DDA has planned four Socia-cultural Centres. Out of these four, a Socio-cultural centre at Sector-13, Dwarka has been designed and clearance for the project has been taken from DUAC. DDA planned about 53 community Halls in almost every Zone of the city. Out of 53 community halls construction of 19 has already been taken up on ground. Designing of a Sensory Park for mentally and physically challenged kids in Sector-11 Dwarka, is being taken up by DDA. Two new sports complexes have been taken up at Dwarka. A football stadium with a capacity of five thousand has been designed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nEven various issues like DDA Housing Scheme-2010, Penalty Relief Scheme, Conversion from leasehold to freehold, Rohini residential scheme, Preserving urban heritage, Record room, Digitization of land records, Greening, Landscape development of barapulla drainage basin, on-line verification of challans, Medical scheme for DDA employees, Review of Master Plan, Electrification and toilet facilities in Parks, Urban extension roads etc. were discussed. A beautiful year calendar was also launched by Mr. Patnaik along with Mrs.Neemo Dhar-Advisor(PR)-D.D.A.<\/div>\n
