\nI am a senior citizen (74+) and on 11th
\nApr 2011 undertook a Rly journey in II Class AC.. The journey was a nightmare<\/b> as you could see from my complaint to Rly

\nDear Sir,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nI am a Sr Citizen and a pensioner. Travelling for us
\nis an ordeal but social obligations force us to face it.<\/div>\n
\nOn 11th Apr 11, I booked two berths in
\nPooja Exp from Delhi to Jammu Tawi. Since Rlys is very kind to give us
\nconcession in fare, I afforded ourselves AC 2, to have a comfortable journey. <\/div>\n
\nBut we were in for disappointments because of the following<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\n1.      The compartment was unhygienic and it appeared as if
\nbogie unfit for service had been attached.<\/div>\n
\n2.      There was no water supply in the toilet with western
\nseat (unfortunately our need)<\/div>\n
\n3.      After few hours journey, the water started dripping in
\nthe cabin where my wife was sleeping and in the passage adjacent to my berth.
\nWe could not sleep and were uncomfortable.<\/div>\n
\n4.  A written complaint was lodged but service staff could
\nhave rectified the fault only after    
\ncompletion of our journey.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nI should have gone to the consumer
\ncourt to seek refund along with penalty but I will not. You are requested to
\nlook into it and address to at least
\nminimum comfort of the passengers<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nTo my pleasant surprise the Rly Authorities responded to my above letter accepting
\nthe deficiency in service and the defective coach was withdrawn from service
\nfor overhauling.<\/b><\/div>\n
\nThrough this presentation it is
\nrequested that we should not accept
\ndeficiency in service and bring it to the notice of competent authorities for
\npulling up their socks<\/b>.<\/div>\n
