That was India\u2019s wake-up call.<\/p>\n<p>Seven minutes later, a smart equaliser \u2013 a header from a Steven Dias corner brought India back in the game.   <\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, India did get their act together putting the Afghan defence under immense pressure. Upfront, Jeje played the perfect foil to Chhetri and Steven Dias and Clifford Miranda did float some crosses into the box.<\/p>\n<p>Afghanistan had their chances too as rival captain Haroon Fakhrudin and Mohammad Esrafil combined well to split open the Indian defence towards the fag end of the first half but failed to finish it off.<\/p>\n<p>Changing over, India failed to finish it off. Twice, Chhetri and Jeje, both fresh after their trials with Rangers failed to put it in from close.
