\nRecently,  Pragati public school , Dwarka organized it\u2019s
\nAnnual Function \u201cSrijan Sopan\u201d a literary expedition in the school Premises.
\nThe Chief Guest on the occasion was Padmashri  Dr. Shyam Singh Shashi,<\/b> the eminent
\nsocial scientist, poet , litterateur, academician, Journalist. Mr. Shashadhar Acharya<\/b>, the eminent
\nchhau dance exponent and Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee presided over the
\nfunction as the Guest of Honour. A number of parents and other dignitaries
\nattended the function.<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Chairperson Dr.
\nPoonam Manshani<\/b>   and the Principal Ms. Geeta Kapur<\/b>  warmly welcomed the guests  and honoured them with  mementos.The programme commenced with the
\nlighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest followed by orchestra  where the students performed in unison a
\nblend of Indian rhythm and instruments. Then the colourful cultural programme
\ncommenced with Ganesh Stuti which invoked 
\na sense of harmony  and peace. The
\nPrincipal Ms. Geeta Kapur<\/b> presented
\nthe Annual   School report &
\nenumerated the various achievements of the school. The chairperson Dr. Poonam Manshani<\/b> released the annual
\nschool magazine \u201cPragati Ke Path Par\u201d<\/b>
\nalso congratulated the students for their achievements in plethora of
\nactivities . The Chief Guest addressed the gathering  and expressed his views on spreading
\nknowledge and lighting the torch of learning 
\nthrough innovative ideas .He spoke about the importance of Hindi
\nlanguage and motivated the students to possess good moral values and to have a
\nstrong character apart from excelling in academics so as to become a
\nresponsible citizen of this country. The students put up a scintillating dance
\ndrama \u201cSrijan Sopan<\/b>\u201d which was a
\nblend of language , literature and glimpses of golden history and highlighted
\nthe development of the language through various phases. It was  beautifully choreographed & presented by
\nthe students. <\/div>\n

\nThe students enthralled 
\nthe audience with their boundless energy, soaring  spirits, vibrance & grand props. The
\ngrand finale was the show stealer where the tiny tots & the other senior
\nstudents put up a spectacular performance on a medley of songs which mesmerized
\nthe audience. The function concluded with the chairperson Dr. Poonam Manshani<\/b>\u2019s 
\nvote of thanks followed by the national anthem.<\/div>\n
