\nDwarka Kala Sargam, a musical organization which appreciates and promotes the melodious music and provide a platform for aspiring singers to showcase their talent, presented a musical evening \u201c Rimjhim ke taraane\u201d on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Appu Enclave, Dwarka. The melodies from the Golden Era of Hindi Cinema took the center stage when singers traced the journey of songs by crooning hit numbers \u2013 like \u201cRimjhim ke taraane le ke\u2026, Sharaabi sharaabi ye sawan ka\u2026.\u2019 \u201cHamaare dil se na jaana\u2026\u201d, \u201cJab chali thandi hawa\u2026\u201d, \u201cZindagi dene wale sun\u2026\u2019, \u201cAi sanam jisne tujhe chaand si surat di hai\u2026\u2026\u201d, \u201cChookar mere dil ko\u2026\u201d, \u201c Rimjhim gire sawan\u2026\u201d \u201cJulmi sang aankh ladi\u2026\u201d \u201c Wo paas rahe ya door rahe\u2026\u201d, \u201c Ja re kaare badraa\u2026.\u2019, \u201c Jis dil me basa tha puaar tera\u2026\u201d, \u201c tera jaana dil ke \u2026\u201d, \u201c Tasweer banata hun\u2026\u201d, \u201cYaad kiya dil ne kahan ho tum\u2026..\u201d, \u201c O mere dil ke chain\u2026\u201d and many more .<\/p>\n

\nThe foot tapping number \u201cJulmi sang aankh ladi\u2026…\u201d by Ms. Ritu dogra enthralled the audience. Mr. R. K. Jain rendered the audience awestruck with his soul stirring voice. Mrs. Karuna Srivastava, Mr. Deepak Malik, Ms. Kamlesh Soni , Mr. Amarjeet Singh Sohal , Ms. Kanwakjeet Kaur, Ms. Promila Malik and Ms. Ritu Dogra spellbound the audience. Mr. Joginder Malik and Mr. MVS Rao gave their debut performance. Ms. Shashi Jain, as an anchor, added spark to the show.<\/p>\n

The hall was jam packed. People were searching for chairs. The evening of entertainment won great acclaim and applause of the large gathering of music lovers of the city. <\/p>\n
