Regular buses and taxis are available at rates approved by the J&amp;K Tourism Department, from&nbsp;<strong>Katra<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Jammu<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Udhampur<\/strong>. Pilgrims may also travel from Jammu&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Akhnoor-Bhambla&nbsp;Road<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ransoo<\/strong>&nbsp;is 6 kms from&nbsp;<strong>Kanda More<\/strong>&nbsp;(turn)&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Reasi- Rajouri Road<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 14px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\">This&nbsp;<strong>cave&nbsp;<\/strong>which was discovered about&nbsp;<strong>100 years ago<\/strong>&nbsp;by the local&nbsp;shepherds&nbsp;is more than a kilometer long but pilgrims are allowed upto&nbsp;150 meters, it has two chambers, outer chamber is little large and after crossing a narrow and low passage, one enters the inner chamber which is comparably smaller, the cave is illuminated and pilgrims take help of ropes to walk and even at places one has to crawl to move ahead in the chamber, there&nbsp;&nbsp;is four feet tall natural&nbsp;<strong>Syambhu Shiva Lingam<\/strong>&nbsp;which&nbsp;bathes in a milky water dripping from the ceiling of the cave, &nbsp;just above the Lingam is a&nbsp;structure which gives impression of&nbsp;<strong>Kamdhenu Cow<\/strong>,&nbsp;one can even recognize the structure near the Lingam&nbsp;<strong>Goddess Parvati<\/strong>, the other deities are&nbsp;<strong>Lord Ganesha<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lord Kartikeyen<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lord Hanuman<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lord Ram<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Laxman<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Sita<\/strong>&nbsp;even one can recognize&nbsp;<strong>Sheshnag<\/strong>&nbsp;here, in the center there is a hollow structure giving impression of&nbsp;<strong>Lord Shiva\u2019s Jattas<\/strong>, all these are sourrounded by self made&nbsp;<strong>Shaligrams<\/strong>&nbsp;in the cave, pilgrims call it a&nbsp;<strong>Home of GODS<\/strong>, it is a miracle.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"tr-caption-container\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\">The demon&nbsp;<strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong>&nbsp;meditated and pleased&nbsp;<strong>Lord Shiva,&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;received the blessings that \u201c<em>If he put his hand palm on any ones head, that person will die<\/em>\u201c,&nbsp;to test this&nbsp;<strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong>&nbsp;wanted to put his palm on Lord Shiva\u2019s head,&nbsp;and had a battle,&nbsp;Lord Shiva threw his&nbsp;<strong>Trident<\/strong>&nbsp;(&nbsp;<strong>Trishul<\/strong>) which created this cave, along with&nbsp;<strong>Devi Parvati<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Nandi Bull<\/strong>&nbsp;entered and leaving behind&nbsp;<strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lord Vishnu<\/strong>&nbsp;who visualized the ill designs&nbsp;came here, disguised as&nbsp;<strong>Apsra<\/strong>, lured&nbsp;<strong>Bhasmasur<\/strong>&nbsp;to dance to her&nbsp;steps, each step and move was so planed that finally&nbsp;<strong>Apsra<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>Lord Vishnu<\/strong>) made him to put his palm on his own head thus killing the Bhasmasur of his own powers, after this dance and killing, Lord Vishnu entered the cave along with other Devtas, it is said that&nbsp;<strong>330 million Devtas<\/strong>&nbsp;are in this cave lying as&nbsp;<strong>Shaligrams<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Pindis<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 1em; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\">Around&nbsp;<strong>Shivkhori<\/strong>&nbsp;one can visit the shrine,&nbsp;<strong>Dera Baba Banda Bahadur<\/strong>, the army commander of&nbsp;<strong>Shri Guru Gobind Singh<\/strong>&nbsp;Ji about 20 kms from here on the banks of&nbsp;<strong>River Chenab<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><strong>Nau Pindian<\/strong>, this is about 9 kms from&nbsp;<strong>Katra<\/strong>&nbsp;on same road to&nbsp;<strong>Reasi<\/strong>, there is a natural formation dedicated to the&nbsp;<strong>Nine incarnations<\/strong>&nbsp;(Avatars) of&nbsp;<strong>Maa Shakti<\/strong>&nbsp;in the form of&nbsp;<strong>Pindi<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><strong>Dhansar Baba<\/strong>, this place is about 10 kms from Katra , 17 kms before Reasi , off the main road&nbsp;trek for 1 km, it is&nbsp;a natural formation of&nbsp;<strong>Shiva Lingam<\/strong>&nbsp;and natural dropping of water on the lingam.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<table cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"tr-caption-container\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><strong>Bhimgarh Fort<\/strong>, it is also known as&nbsp;<strong>Reasi Fort<\/strong>, originally constructed of clay but later it was reconstructed using stone, the main entry gate is having&nbsp;<strong>Rajasthani carvings<\/strong>, there is a statue of&nbsp;<strong>Goddess Maha Kali<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Lord Hanuman Ji<\/strong>, there is a&nbsp;<strong>water pond<\/strong>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<strong>temple<\/strong>&nbsp;in the fort and rooms.
