The work of construction of slips roads on all the four corners at Ashirwad Chowk had started over three months ago and each patch has about 50 metre stretch and about 15 feet wide.  Even about after three months, the work is still going on at a snail pace.  Mr. Lokesh Sharma, Office Bearer of the Market Association, Sector 11 said that the shopkeepers are very much perturbed and dismayed due on the delay.<\/div>\n

We appeal to the DDA for taking up the issue with the contractor and direct him to complete the job at the earliest for the convenience of residents and other road users.<\/p>\n

SHORTCOMINGS IN THE COMPLAINT REGISTRATION FOR SPEED POSTS<\/b><\/div>\n

You must have been sending mail by speed post and wanted to register a complaint about the mails not delivered or delivered late.  On India Post website, there is a complaint registration form under heading feed back.   I want to know if any of us has ever been successful in the registration of his complaint using the form as for over last six months, I have not been successful in that therefore this form seems to me an eye-wash and sham by the postal department.  <\/div>\n

2.       On 2.2.2011, delivery particulars of one speed post sent by me on 2.2.11 and four speed posts sent on 7.2.11 are not available on the India Post website (speed post tracking). All these speed posts were sent from Dwarka, Sector 6 post office having PIN Code No. 110075. Their details are as under:<\/div>\n

3.       When I tried to register a complaint for the aforesaid speed posts using complaint registration form, I could not submit the complaint to the postal department as I kept receiving one message after the other telling me about the shortcoming in the details being sought to be submitted by me.<\/div>\n

4.       I request you to try to register a complaint about any of the mail (may be aforesaid mail) and inform me about the result.  If you also fail in your attempt, I shall file an RTI to postal department asking about the number of complaints received by it through this complaint registration form during a particular period. This will make the system effective for the public. If any enlightened member can suggest any other remedy too, I shall be grateful for the same and all the members of this blog will stand benefitted.<\/div>\n

AFTER FIGHTING FOR 1-1\/2 YEARS, GOT INTEREST FROM THE DDA<\/b><\/div>\n

After taking up the payment of interest for about 1.5 years, DDA has to send the interest to my son as he got refund of his registration amount very late in Housing Scheme, 2008.  Though the amount is meager viz. Rs 3,148 and had to spend about Rs 1000\/- on correspondence and postage but he has the satisfaction he succeeded in making the DDA to follow its own rules.  However, according to DDA, there are about 635 such cases but it seems that the DDA has given interest to to me only who has taken up this case in a vigorous and persistent manner.  I do not know whether the applicant is looser or gainer as he spent much more time worth the refund amount.  There are some officials in every departments who are defaming the entire government by not taking action on the legitimate work and demand.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
