Nurturing the Parent\u2019s Partnership in Education<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

MBS International School held Investiture Ceremony on 25th Sep\u20192010. It was a momentous occasion not only for the school but also for the parents of the school.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents of Council members were especially invited for conferring the \u201cBadges of Responsibility<\/strong>\u201d upon their wards. It was a moment of pride & honor for each parent.<\/p>\n

The investiture ceremony commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamp by Mr. & Mrs. Parmod Chaursia<\/strong>, parents of the School Captain & Director MBS Ms Veena Raizada<\/strong><\/p>\n

The School Council comprises of School Captain \u2013 Arjun Chaurasia , Sports Captain \u2013 Priyanshu Gupta , the Cultural Captain \u2013 Gursimran Kaur<\/strong> and the Captains and Vice Captains of four houses. Every member of Students\u2019 Council when called on the stage was brimming with enthusiasm & confidence.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Tagore House<\/strong>, named after the first Asian Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore<\/strong> is led by Shobit Singh<\/strong> as Captain & Kartik Sherawat<\/strong> as Vice- Captain. For them the green colour signifying growth & prosperity of the Mother Nature is an inspiration to work with motto \u201cAspire to Inspire<\/strong>\u201d .They pledged to keep alive the sensitivity of hearts towards fellow being & Mother Nature. They believe that each student of their house would strive to become sentinel of peace & harmony. <\/div>\n

\nThe House Captain Himanshi Poddar<\/strong> and Siddharth Sane<\/strong> as Vice Captain will lead CURIE HOUSE<\/strong>, named after the scientist Madame Curie<\/strong>, whose discovery led the way to a new era for medical knowledge. The motto of this red color house \u2018Knowledge is Power\u2019<\/strong> rightly stimulates energy, brings confidence to scale new heights for these young leaders of this house. <\/p>\n

TERESA HOUSE<\/strong> named after Mother Teresa<\/strong> whose selfless services to help those in needs have given her the recognition as a model humanitarian. The blue color of this house motivates the House Captain Saloni Jain<\/strong> and Vice Captain Babita Bisht<\/strong> to help all children imbibe her virtues of trustworthiness, dependability and commitment to serve the mankind. The house motto \u2018Service before Self\u2019<\/strong> aptly signifies the belief of house members<\/p>\n

\u2018Truth alone Triumphs\u2019<\/strong> is the motto of VIVEKANADA HOUSE<\/strong> named after Swami Vivekananda<\/strong>.\u201d His words \u201cArise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.\u201d inspire the House Captain Aryan Balapure<\/strong> and Vice Captain Abhinav Singh<\/strong> to have hope and optimism, strive hard to bring glory and success to their house.<\/p>\n

\nDirector MBS and Parents of Council members jointly handed over the School flag to School Captain and House flags to House Captains. <\/p>\n

Head Mistress administered the oath of office. The council pledged to discharge their duties to the best of their ability for the glory and honor of the school. They all promised to uphold and honor the school\u2019s motto \u2018Where Mind, Body and Soul amalgamate into one!<\/strong>\u2019 Ms. Parmod Chaursia<\/strong> while addressing the students advised them to shoulder the responsibilities assigned to them with honesty, sincerity and dedication.<\/p>\n

The Executive Director of the school, Ms Veena Raizada<\/strong> requested all parents to spend time with their children to get a daily feedback of various activities held at school. She stated that an integrated curriculum that encompasses curricular, co-curricular, sports and right mix of technology will help each MBSian to shape into a persona with global outlook. She stressed that in the competitive world of today academics alone was not enough to help children excel. We, as parents and teaching faculty, need to interact regularly for moulding and motivating the young minds and prepare them for life.<\/p>\n
