Saluja<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nToday, you incite for rally,<br \/>\nWhat will you do,<br \/>\nWhen we will have<br \/>\nEmpty belly?<\/p>\n<p>Today you say <br \/>\nClose the shops &amp; schools, <br \/>\nWhat will we do, when all of us,<br \/>\nTurn into fools?<\/p>\n<p>Today, boys are playing cricket<br \/>\nOn empty roads,<br \/>\nWhat will they do, when these spaces<br \/>\nWill be choked with vehicles, of all modes?<\/p>\n<p>Today, they are playing rummy,<br \/>\nAnd devouring food, which is yummy<br \/>\nBut, how long will this bliss last,<br \/>\nWhen they keep on playing dummy?<\/p>\n<p>Today, the police &amp; the army<br \/>\nIs chasing the rallyists <br \/>\nIn lanes &amp; on roads<br \/>\nWhat will they do<br \/>\nWhen they spread their tentacles <br \/>\nAnd descend upon their homes?<\/p>\n<p>Beware, it is not<br \/>\nyet too late<br \/>\nLet the police protect <br \/>\narmy defend<br \/>\nstudent study<br \/>\nbabu work<br \/>\nand trader trade<\/p>\n<p>Let every one pray &amp; work<br \/>\nIn the places<br \/>\nOf their choice<br \/>\nAnd all of us endorse it<br \/>\nIn one loud voice<\/p>\n<p>Our dear country is already so poor,<br \/>\nIt can not afford <br \/>\nThe luxury of<br \/>\nAcrimony, disunity &amp; strife.<\/p>\n<p>We all will have<br \/>\nTo come together,<br \/>\nIf we want<br \/>\nA better life.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Writer is Ex Chief Engineer [civil], <\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>New Delhi Municipal Council<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vijay K.
