5TH Takshila Grand Prix – chess tournament from 31 May to 01 Jun 2008
at K R Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri.
The prize money for the tournament will be as under:
Trophies will be given to winner Teams in U-10, U-15 & U-19.
1st Rs. 2500\/- 2nd Rs. 1500\/- 3rd Rs. 1000\/-
4th Rs. 800\/- 5th Rs. 700\/- 6th- 10th Rs. 500\/- each<\/p>\n

The prize money for the Super Tournament will be as under and the top Teams will get trophies :
1st Rs. 15000\/- 2nd Rs. 10000\/- 3rd Rs. 7000\/-
4th Rs. 5000\/- 5th Rs. 3000\/- 6th -10th Rs. 2000\/- each<\/p>\n

The entry fee for each event will be Rs. 150\/- (One Hundred and Fifty only) for each tournament and Rs. 500\/- for super tournament. Other than qualifiers, only invited players will be eligible to participate. This will not be an open to all tournament but the DCA has right to include any player who applies.
All tournaments will be of 7-9 rounds. Top ten from each tournament will qualify for the super tournament. Top two from each tournament will get free entry for the super tournament.
All players must register for the tournament at least one day in advance. Spot entries will be taken only before the commencement of the first at the venue with a late fee of Rs. 100\/-. Delhi Chess Association registration is a must for every participant. For details contact:
