{"id":14003,"date":"2007-01-07T13:51:00","date_gmt":"2007-01-07T13:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/2007\/01\/cic-taking-serious-note-on-dwarka\/"},"modified":"2018-06-12T06:44:24","modified_gmt":"2018-06-12T01:14:24","slug":"cic-taking-serious-note-on-dwarka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/cic-taking-serious-note-on-dwarka\/","title":{"rendered":"CIC Taking Serious Note on Dwarka Resident Appeal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taking a serious note of the failure to respond to a right to information application, the Central Information Commission (CIC) has issued a show cause notice to a senior official of Airports Authority of India (AAI) for providing incomplete information.<\/p>\n<p>The commission was hearing an RTI appeal filed by Anoop Kumar Gupta, a resident of Dwarka in the capital wherein he sought information pertaining to duty hours of executives up to the level of senior managers in various disciplines in AAI.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The commission has taken a very serious view of this lapse and has decided to issue a show cause notice as penalty to the executive director of the personnel department for providing incomplete information to the appellant&#8221;, said Information Commissioner O P Kejariwal in a recent order.<\/p>\n<p>The CIC took note of the delay caused at the instance of public information officer AAI, which it termed as a lapse on the part of the official.
