Distinguished women engineers were honoured here at late last evening function held at PHD House in South Delhi by the Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI) , an apex body of consulting engineers of about 500 members, comprising professional consulting engineering organizations and eminent engineering consultants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\nCEAI also declared February 18 to be observed as \u2018Women Engineers Day\u2019 every year.Eminent Women engineers who were honoured included Ms Archana Gupta of M\/s Penta India Cement & Minerals ,Mumbai, Ms D. Geethalakshmi of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, Chennai, Ms Dipika Munday of Mott MacDonald Private Limited, Noida and Life Time Achievement Award was presented to Ms Neerja Mathur – Ex. Chairperson of Central Electricity Authority (CEA).The awards were presented by Chief Information Commissioner R K Mathur.<\/p>\n

Eminent engineers who were present on the occasion included Dr Sudhir Krishna, Former Secretary Ministry of Urban Development, Mr Sudhir Dhawan, Chairman, Consulting Engineers Association of India, Mr K K Kapila, Chairman, ICT and Chairman International Road Federation, Mr K S Popli,CMD, IREDA and Dr Uddesh Kohli of Engineering Council of India .<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
