\nNelson Mandela Day is an annual International day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated each year on 18th July, Mandela\u2019s birthday. Mandela day is a day to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela, South Africa\u2019s former President and his values through volunteering and community service. It is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has to the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact. <\/div>\n

To mark the importance of this day, class IX B presented an assembly on Nelson Mandela Day on 23rd July 2015. The students spoke about the importance of the day along with some of the famous quotations of Nelson Mandela. They also presented a musical enactment and narrated one of Mandela\u2019s favorite poems. <\/p>\n

\nThe assembly ended with the distribution of few certificates and medals. Dwarka Parichay had organized it\u2019s 3rd Dwarka Topper Student\u2019s Award 2015 which was held on 10th & 11th July 2015 at Sri Venkateshwar International School & ASM – Dwarka. Fifteen students received Toppers certificates. It was a proud moment for the school and the students. A memento was also awarded to the school for it\u2019s outstanding performance.<\/div>\n
