Dwarka Kala Sargam, a musical organization which appreciates and promotes the melodious music of the Golden Era and provide a platform for aspiring singers to showcase their talent, presented a musical evening on Sunday, July 01, 2018 in SDMC community Centre, sector 23 , Dwarka. The occasion was to welcome Ashadh, onset of monsoon. The melodies from the Golden Era of Hindi Cinema took the center stage when singers traced the journey of songs by crooning hit numbers \u2013 like \u201cAb ke baras bhej bhaiya ko babul.., Jaari jaari o kari badariya\u2026.. Kajra mohabbat wala,\u2026. Maang ke saath tumhara\u2026., Ye nai nai preet hai\u2026.,, Dil ka diya jala ke gaya\u2026., Khayalon me kisi ke is tarah\u2026., Rahe na rahe hum\u2026, Ja re ja re ud ja re panchhi\u2026., Ai dil mujhe bata de\u2026, Mujhe kitna pyar hai tumse\u2026.,Ye dunia ye mahfil mere kaam ki nahin\u2026., Saanson ki zaroorat hai jaise\u2026., Jhumka gira re\u2026., Tere naino ke main deep jalaunga\u2026., Le to aaye ho hume sapno ke gaon mein\u2026, Bade hai dil ke kale\u2026., Raahi matwale\u2026., Ajeeb dastan hai ye\u2026, Sainya chhod de baiyan\u2026.\u201d and many more. The foot tapping numbers \u201cJhumka gira re\u2026.by Ms. Sarika, Kajra mohabbat wala\u2026,by Ms. Sarika & Priya and Bade hain dilke kale\u2026\u201d by Ms Rakesh & Mr. D P Sharma enthralled the audience. Mr. R K Jain rendered the audience awestruck with his soul stirring voice. Mrs. Karuna Srivastava, Mr. Amarjeet Singh Sohal, Ms. Promila Malik and Ms. Ritu Dogra spellbound the audience. Mr. S K Azad, Ms. Sarika and Ms. Priya gave their debut performance. Ms. Shashi Jain, as an anchor, added spark to the show.\u00a0he evening of entertainment won great acclaim and applause of the large gathering of music lovers of the city.<\/p>\n
