N K B P S Dwarka witnessed a unique union of culture, amalgamation of talent, alacrity, joy and excellence at the Annual School Fest Trishna Summit: A Students\u2019 conclave on 29 th of April 2015. An Annual feature of the school calendar, the event has gained popularity amongst academicians and student fraternity. \u2018It was conducted with an objective to showcase\/hone the innate talents of students and not competition among the students. Every participant was a winner as the message of this Summit conveys \u2018If you can dream it, you can do it\u2019. The mascot of \u2018Trishna\u2019 is \u2018Zorba-The Buddha\u2019 whose feet are firmly rooted to the ground, yet whose hands can touch the stars. To appreciate the efforts of students, the school gave away \u2018Gift Hampers\u2019 for each event and also a Trophy to each school which was a part of this Summit. <\/p>\n

The event which witnessed a presence of about 500 students from 25 schools of Dwarka and NCR commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Thereafter the Guest of Honour of the occasion, eminent scientist Dr, Professor K. Kannan , one of the pioneers of Biotechnology and Chief Guest, Dr S K Bhattacharya, Director N.K.Bagrodia Group of Schools, were formally welcomed by school Principal, Dr (Mrs) Rajee N Kumar by according floral felicitations and mementos. The observers of different events, noted academicians and specialists of various fields, were also greeted with floral felicitation. In his address to the participating students, Prof K Kannan, applauded the efforts of the school in providing a platform to the students to display their talents. School Director, Dr S K Bhattacharya, exhorted the students to make the best use of the opportunities provided to them. The school choir presented the welcome song \u2018Hum Saaz Mein Aawaz Ka Agaz Karte Hain\u2019.<\/p>\n

\nA wide gamut of activities was a part of the extravagant event. Splendid performance was witnessed in activities such as Visual Art-\u2018A Tryst with Aquatic Life\u2019 using wastes for classes I to V, Creative Expression- performing art for classes VII to IX, Treasure Hunt for class IX & X ,Mind Sweeper for classes VII to VIII, Youth Forum-A Talk Show in support of the language for classes VI to X, Hindi-Hasya Kavi Sammelan(Maanikya) for class VIII, Literary Conclave- English Extempore for classes IX & X, E-nnovation for classes XI-XII using E-wastes. Tech C: a C++ Wizard for class XII. Vanamitrawali, which emphasized on imbibing eco friendly habits and ways to \u2018Go Green\u2019, was well appreciated by all.<\/p>\n

The mega event concluded in the presence of Mr. C.R.Garg, District Magistrate (West District) and Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta, member of the Management. A spectacular dance performance \u2018Eye Illusion\u2019 marked an apt finale to the extravagant event. The best performers of the various events were honored with certificates and prizes and the event concluded with a promise to return with more activities, elation and ecstasy in the forthcoming years. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
