N.K. Bagrodia Public School celebrated its Investiture ceremony for the academic year 2018-19 on 27th July 2018 in its school premises with pomp and splendor.The ceremony started on an auspicious note by lighting the lamp which\u00a0signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path\u00a0of wisdom and divinity. It was followed with the prayer and a song by the school choir.

The school Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rajee N. Kumar welcomed the honourable guests ShriK.K.Dhanuka, Shri Dinesh Gupta, the members of the N.K.Bagrodia Educational Society and the Director of the School Dr. S.K.Bhattacharya to this solemn occasion.<\/p>\n

The school entrusted faith and hope in the newly appointed Student Council. The members of the School Student Council donned on smart, formal attire and shouldered their responsibilities. Master Akshaj Krishnan of XIIB was bestowed as the Head Boy and Miss Samridhi Ghai of XIIC was bestowed\u00a0as the Head Girl. Master Aalok of XI A was appointed as the Vice Head Boy and Miss Tanvi Purohit of XI F was appointed as the Vice Head girl. The House Captains, the Sports Captain, the Cultural Head, the Junior Head boy Master Hridyanshu Samantaray, Junior Head girl Miss Tiksha Vashsist, the English, Hindi, French and Sanskrit Editors and all the\u00a0prefects were the other members of the student council. Student council was given sash and\u00a0badges by all our dignitaries. The Head Girl Miss Samridhi Ghai administered the oath to\u00a0the student council.The students\u2019 council took the pledge to hold the school motto of \u201cAnushasan, Shramaur Atmabal\u201d in high esteem.<\/p>\n

Dr. S.K Bhattacharya, the honourable guest congratulated the newly appointed student council and gave an inspiring\u00a0speech on the importance of self-discipline, diligence, sincerity and conviction. He emphasized on the values of having a fulfilling experience in school and urged the young leaders to take the school honour to a higher level. He reminded\u00a0them they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take\u00a0up the responsibility with commitment and integrity.\u00a0The ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
