Kamdhenu Gowdham, a leading research institute\nfor conservation and promotion of indigenous cow breeds, on Sunday organised\nthe monthly Hawan programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greeting\ndistinguished guests, Chief Patron Shri S.P. Gupta, IAS (Retd) stressed the\nneed for production of various cow products and adopting organic farming for\nprosperity in rural areas. He said that rearing of cow could go long way in\nensuring employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Kamdhenu-Gowham-organisd-monthly-Hawan2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55265\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the\nlast six years, Kamdhenu Gowdham has achieved unexpected success. We are now\nworking on starting a panchkarma chikitsalaya and Vanprastha ashram within the\nGowdham premise. It will have all the necessary facilities,\u201d Shri Gupta\ninformed the guests and audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking\non the auspicious occasion, Shri Khemchand Sharma, senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad\n(VHP) leader said that falling cow population is a matter of concern now and\nadvised the government to bring policies that addresses the issue. Shri Sharma\nsaid that cow is central to India\u2019s economy and hence needs special attention\nof policy-makers to promote Panchgavya-based industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Kamdhenu-Gowham-organisd-monthly-Hawan3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55266\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shri Jai\nPrakash Garg, national vice-president, VHP noted that cow could be main source\nof a farmer\u2019s income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shri\nArun Kumar Bansal, former co-convener (Udyog Prakostha), BJP suggested that\ngovernment should encourage setting up of Panchgavya-based industry in each\nvillage. He advocated for increasing the scale of dairy in rural areas so that\neach cow product could be commercially used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kamdhenu\nGowdham also held a discussion on animal sacrifice and reiterated that no\nsociety sanctions it as it is a social evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swami\nYog Bhushan, founder Dharmyog Foundation, called for complete ban of animal\nslaughter in the country. He sought people\u2019s participation in curbing animal\nkilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Kamdhenu-Gowham-organisd-monthly-Hawan4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55267\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnimals\ncontinue to be sacrificed in states like Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and\nRajasthan. They should be immediately stopped. The law prohibiting animal\nkilling should be strictly implemented,\u201d Shri Yog Bhushan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the\ndistinguished guests listed out the medicinal value of cow products and how\nthey could help cure serious ailments related to kidney, liver and other\norgans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kamdhenu\nGowdham chairperson Smt. Shashi Gupta advised everybody present on the occasion\nto use gauark every day to keep diseases away.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nparticipants of the five-day animal welfare training programme organised by\nAnimal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) also visited the Kamdhenu Gowdham and\nattended the talk on benefits of cow-rearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nprogramme was convened by Shri Priyank Gupta.
