However in reality, it is the\nbeginning. Till now you have been learning the theories. Now you have to perform\nthe practicals of Life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Life Skills<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong>which\nshould have been a part of your education are seeded in just one question: &#8216;Why\nare you doing what you are doing?&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No\none educated you about your Nation, her ancient wisdom and scriptures. No one\ntold you why you studied History. The answer to &#8216;Why&#8217; helps you handle\nuncertainties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former\nPrincipal of Loyola and St Vincent\u2019s, Rev. Fr Schoch, SJ had said decades ago,\n\u201cThe crime that the government commits is that they give a very low salary to\nteachers. In advanced countries, teachers enjoy an honoured place in society\nand earn a good salary. In the land of the &#8216;<strong><em>Guru<\/em><\/strong>&#8216;,\nteachers are neglected.
