New Delhi March 4, 2019  FICCI Ladies Organisation, (FLO), Women business wing of FICCI in association with  Vital Voices is organising the Global Mentoring Walk in New Delhi on Friday, March 8, 2019 in New Delhi The mentor walk is held world wide each year as part of International Women’s day .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historic 182 Global mentoring Walks with the theme  #BalanceForBetter are scheduled to take place in 68 countries n March 8 & 9, 2019. International Women\u2019s Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political contributions of women around the world. International Women\u2019s Day serves as a call to action to close the gap between progress and potential, in order to accelerate gender parity globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFICCI FLO will once again serve as local flag bearers for this global event for the Third time. The walk is designed to bring together established women leaders and emerging women leaders to provide mentorship, guidance and support that will empower emerging women leaders to succeed.\u201d Said Ms Pinky Reddy, President, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAround 100 participants who are influential and high profile women leaders in the business community will walk together as mentors and mentees to discuss their challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship in the region.\u201d Said Ms Reddy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMentorship and guidance are the key tools that has the potential to help women entrepreneurs and professionals grow their businesses, and in many cases, change their lives. The objective of the Mentoring Walk is to link established women entrepreneurs & professionals as mentors to emerging ones.  This linkage will bring them together under one platform,    to walk together and discuss their professional challenges and successes and establish a mentoring relationship, in which the seasoned leader guides, advises and supports her peer.\u2019\u2019 She added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 ARCH College of Design & Business along with ELSA – the Lady Shri Ram College Alumni Association are also participating in the global initiative – The Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk in New Delhi.As an established woman leader, it would be our privilege to have you participate in the 2019 Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk as a Mentor. On this day around the world, international women leaders from Vital Voices\u2019 Global Leadership Network will walk together in more than 68 countries leading to 182 walks across the Globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
