The&nbsp; main aim\nwas to sensitise the young minds and make them prepared to cope up with\nthe&nbsp; present scenario and face the&nbsp; unsafe environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/WORKSHOP-GENDER-SENSITIZATION.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57170\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Praveen, an Advocate &nbsp;in &nbsp;Delhi\n&nbsp;Police&nbsp;\ncommenced the session with a general discussion on the kind of toys and\nclothes which are basically&nbsp; selected for\nthe new born babies. He highlighted the stereotypical thinking of the society\nwhere girls and boys are considered pole apart. Many live examples and\ninstances were narrated in order to connect the audience with the present situation.\nThe students were apprised with the discrimination which is quite prevalent in\nthe society and how to take initiative to bring a positive change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the workshop was to bring\n&nbsp;an &nbsp;awareness &nbsp;about &nbsp;gender equality and sensitise the students on\nGender Issues. The students &nbsp;were &nbsp;motivated &nbsp;to &nbsp;be &nbsp;more &nbsp;vigilant\n&nbsp;and&nbsp;\nsupport&nbsp; each other against any\ncrime. They were also given a few tricks of Self defence&nbsp;&nbsp; by Ms. Renuka and Ms. Renu (Self Defence\nTrainer) .
