Students from NiBS as a part of their SEWA (Social Environmental Welfare Action) project conducted a workshop on ways to recycle and reuse plastic. The focus was on scientific way of \u2018E-Waste Management\u2019 as many of the electronic items are made up of re-engineered plastic.\u00a0 Properly segregating and sending them to a recycling facility is essential to ensure that our children live in a pollution free world. Such exchange programmes provide students with a greater range of learning opportunities and experiences.\u00a0<br><br>Mr. Hemant Bagai from Terrapro Recycling conducted an interactive session on Introduction to E waste segregation. There after the students took a pledge to launch E-waste drive. Kerala Education Society Secretary General PK Ravindranathan, Principal Sri Harikumar and coordinator of the program from NiBS Mrs Rema also spoke.
