A week-long festival was organized in N.K Bagrodia\nPublic school, Dwarka to celebrate eternity of art and the creativity of young artists\nwhose soul lie in innovation and art. A m\u00e9lange of activities were conducted at\nintra-class and inter-house level during the Fete, commencing from October 21,  2019. Students endeavored to present the best\nperformances on stage for inter-house group song competition and instrumental\nmusic competition on Day 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2 -To present proficiency in language,\nparticipants devised sharp arguments, at the Inter-house Debate Competition, to\nprove \u201cwhether getting a job is more important than being a good human being?\u201d which\nwas followed by an  Interhouse Sanskrit\nPrashna manch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3 saw another creative assortment where young\nbagrodians adorned themselves with their favorite characters from renowned\nworks of literature, characters like young Oliver Twist and Ariel of Tempest\nwere much praised by the judges for their speech and gestures. Inter-house\ndance competition was the next in action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Inter-house CChand Gayan Competition was also\nheld on the same day where in students of IX and X participated\nenthusiastically. The stage was set, and audience came alive when beautiful\ndancers rocked the stage with splendid performances on classical beats. A spice\nto the show was the western dance presented by students class XI on foot\ntapping Bollywood music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pupils also fervently participated in French quiz\ncompetition organized at intra-class level. Nonetheless, display boards were\ndecked up with genres of Shakespearean plays enumerating on his oeuvres-\nComedy, Tragedy, History and Tragic-comedies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day4 the school extended a warm welcome to the\nbudding playwrights and actors for the One Act-play competition where students\nwere allotted themes on the spot to perform on stage with props prepared spontaneously\nfrom waste newspapers and day to day items. The programme began with lighting\nof the ceremonial lamp and invocation of Lord Ganesha .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saraswati vandana was presented by girls of class X\nand XI to request the deity to bestow all with eternal bliss and light of\nknowledge which was followed by a group song \u2013 \u201cDrag me Down\u201d by students VI,\nVII and VIII to explore the reservoir of courage that lies deep down human\nheart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the distribution of themes and brief preparation of an hour,\nparticipants reverted with their skit and message on stage with messages to\nsave nature to save future, to never judge a book by its cover, to narrate the\nafflictions of the crown, and many more such themes were brought alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students endeavored to amalgamate the their interpretation\ndirecting their performances towards social welfare and best practices to\npromote human existence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Shivansh Tuli, a theatre practitioner from\nFourthWall Productions, the theatre society of SSCBS,DU was the Guest of Honor\nalong with Mr. Sandeep Kumar Shastri, who has been teaching Sanskrit in a\ngovernment school in Haryana for past twenty years.  Having written and directed and acted in\nvarious plays, Mr. Shivansh Tuli has claimed immense fame in the world of\ntheatre. Besides he had been an integral part of the play “Rizwaan”\nwhich was performed in prestigious Old World Collegiate Theatre Festival, Thespo\nat Indian Habitat Centre (India’s largest under 25 theatre festival), Prithvi\nTheatre at Mumbai and Sahitya Kala Parishad to name a few. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RD Rajpal School was chosen the second best School\nfor its performance on \u201cAll Glitters is not Gold\u201d while Brain international\nclaimed the first position with its excellent and commendable performance on \u201c\nSave Nature, Save Future\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An inter-House Rangoli making competition was also\nheld on the same day where in students sketched shades of inspiration art\ndonates to its devotees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
