The spectacular sets have been designed and manufactured by CCRT\u2019s young scholarship holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Spanish-Operetta-in-CCRT-Delhi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61759\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Zarzuela is a popular genre of musical comedy tracing\nits origin to Spain that uses a mix of songs and spoken scenes, very much like\nan operetta; a\nunique showcase of the rhythms and traditions of the diverse cultures of Spain. A Hilarious Spanish Operetta \u2018El Trust de los Tenorios\u2019\n(1910) by Jos\u00e9 Serrano, is one of the most recognizable zarzuela compositions. It\ntakes the audience from Madrid (Spain) to India, via Paris and Venice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe melodious tunes and\nscenes which will be enacted in English with spectacular costumes and lavish\nsets will remind the Indian audience of a Bollywood show\u201d says Priya Wacziarg,\nManaging Trustee of The Neemrana Music Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Hilarious Spanish Operetta sung in Spanish with scenes in English is an AC\/E\u2019s Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE) .
