SPACE India organized India\u2019s largest student\nscientific solar expedition named as Heliodyssey 2019 for which <\/strong>the\nonline selection examination, SPACE HeliOdyssey Test 2019 (SHOT-2019) was\nconducted at national level for selection of young and budding astronomers to\nchase and experience the annular solar eclipse of\nDecember 26, 2019 from India and Sultanate of Oman<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students\nof Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka not only participated but also\nperformed brilliantly.<\/strong> 17 students managed to come\nunder top 200 rank.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Securing\nNational Rank 3, AVIK CHOUDHARY<\/strong> – 8 A has won for himself a sponsored\nScientific Solar Expedition to Mesirah Island, Sultanate of Oman from Space,\nIndia <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Securing 5th National Rank, ANUSHKA GARG<\/strong> – 8\nC won for herself, a sponsored Scientific Solar Expedition to Mesirah Island,\nSultanate of Oman <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Securing Ranks, 30, 33, 36 and 42 respectively,\nfollowing will go on a sponsored Scientific Solar Expedition to Cheruvathur,\nKerala: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nCHAITANYA SHARMA<\/strong> – 6 E
\nAKSHATH GUPTA<\/strong> – 6 A

Four students have won 76mm refractor\ntelescope with solar filter and seven students have won for themselves 50mm\nrefractor telescope with solar filter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were provided with an\nopportunity to become a part of a solar scientific expedition and to\nscientifically observe and record the annular solar eclipse of December 26,\n2019 from India and Sultanate of Oman. Students worked with Astronomers and\nscientist in study of Annular Solar Eclipse as official student scientific\nexpedition. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
