The spectacular sets were designed by CCRT\u2019s Scholarship\nAlumnus, Ms Boishali Sinha (1995-2005) who studied Fine Arts in France, has\nworked in Bollywood as Production Designer for 10 years and designed\naesthetically rich sets in more than 25 films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/The-Spanish-Operetta-\u2013-\u2018El-Trust-de-los-Tenorios\u2019-1a.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61809\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shri Rishi Kumar\nVashist, Director, CCRT felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr Tadepalli, Kuchipudi\nDance Exponent and SNA Yuva Puruskar Awardee and Guest of Honour, Ms Priya, Director,\nThe Neemrana Music Foundation. He shared with the audience about CCRT\u2019s new\ninternational collaboration, showcasing the Spanish Operetta written in 1910\ntravelling through the streets of Madrid, Paris, Venice and India. He said that\nthis was only the beginning of a new chapter of CCRT\u2019s cultural partnerships in\nthe years\/time to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/The-Spanish-Operetta-\u2013-\u2018El-Trust-de-los-Tenorios\u2019-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61806\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Priya Wacziarg, Managing\nTrustee of The Neemrana Music Foundation referred to her father Francis\nWacziarg, who was a great patron of the arts and believed that art is universal\nand can grow anywhere when the heart is in the right place. She appreciated the\nIndian singers and highlighted their ability to become Opera singers within 3-\n4 years of training whereas it usually takes close to a decade to master this\nart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/The-Spanish-Operetta-\u2013-\u2018El-Trust-de-los-Tenorios\u2019-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61807\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The melodious singing\nand compositions, along with the energetic presentation and the colourful\nbackdrops and sets reminded the Indian audience of a Bollywood show. The show\ncomprised of a cross cultural mix of cast and crew, across generations, who put\nforth a wonderfully harmonious performance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/The-Spanish-Operetta-\u2013-\u2018El-Trust-de-los-Tenorios\u2019-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61808\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, this\nhilarious Spanish Operetta sung in Spanish with scenes in English was an AC\/E\u2019s\nProgramme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE) .
