\nA day long Udyan Mela, fruit vegetable and flowers festival organised by All India Kitchen Garden Association (AIKGA) , UDYAN MELA at Gulmohar Park Club in South Delhi on Sunday was dominated by expensive tomatoes and Potatoes.<\/p>\n

“Seeing the increasing prices of Potatoes and Tomatoes as well growing health consciousness , we stressed on growing essential herbs and vegetables including Tomatoes and Potatoes and vegetables at home. The trend of growing vegetables especially with less or no fertilizers or chemicals is growing across the nation. “said Mrs Bella Gupta, Secretary, AIKGA <\/p>\n

“Despite warm weather enthusiasm did not stop for the entire day both among the sellers and visitors. A day long festival with stalls selling seeds, seedlings, plants, garden tools, Organic Items, mouth watering food & pickles. Live demo on gardening, plant potting, Bottle garden,Tray Garden, Rock Garden & vegetable carving was the main highlight of the Mela .
