{"id":64307,"date":"2020-12-18T11:58:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-18T06:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/?p=64307"},"modified":"2020-12-20T12:01:20","modified_gmt":"2020-12-20T06:31:20","slug":"nbt-knowledge-partner-at-international-knowledge-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/nbt-knowledge-partner-at-international-knowledge-summit\/","title":{"rendered":"NBT Knowledge Partner at International Knowledge Summit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Keeping in tandem with the focus given to life skills and health education, the 9<sup>th<\/sup> edition of <strong>International Adolescent Summit<\/strong>, organised by <strong><em>Expressions India<\/em><\/strong> with <strong><em>National Book Trust, India <\/em>as theKnowledge Partner<\/strong>, will be inaugurated by Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal \u2018Nishank\u2019, Hon\u2019ble Minster of Education, Govt. of India on 18 December 2020 at 3 pm in a virtual event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> International Adolescent Summit<\/strong> will have the participation of nearly <strong>1200 schools<\/strong> from the across the country with more than <strong>15,000 students<\/strong> as participants. The four-week event would give a chance to the students and teachers to interact with other schools from all over the country. The event will be held from 18 December 2020 to 12 January 2021 on the virtual platform, with various programs for all age-groups. During the course of the event, many Youth icons will also interact with the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural event will see the presence of <strong>Prof. Govind Prasad Sharma<\/strong>, Chairman National Book Trust India as the Keynote Speaker, with address by <strong>Shri Yuvraj Malik<\/strong>, Director, National Book India and remarks by <strong>Dr Jitendra Nagpal<\/strong>, eminent psychologist and Programme Director, Expressions India. The event will also see the release of the souvenir <em>Sandarshika<\/em> and the <em>Indian Journal of School Health and Well-Being<\/em> by the Hon\u2019ble Chief Guest. With an objective to understand and review the concept, needs and trends of School Health and life skills, values education, in national and global perspectives and research, this summit will focus on ensuring integration of school safety, sanitation, nutrition, hygiene and health promotion program within the comprehensive school health education curriculum and life skills programming.
