Extract:

SSD:How do you enjoy yurself your writing skill?

Maria:My poetry is quite an expression of my personal sentiments. Of course, I enjoy myself my writings by pouring out my feelings on the paper. In my poetry I pour out my joys, sufferings, and all the feelings that swirl inside me. My poetry collaborate my thinking honestly and I ever avoided exaggerations.

SSD: What’s your main interest in writing-articles, poems, stories or else?

Maria:Most of my time I devote to poesy, it is poetry that makes me more satisfied, in it I find myself. Of course, I also write articles, I started working as a journalist in one of the Polish newspapers when I was 18 years old, I really felt a kind od spiritual elation.

SSD:Waht do you have an opinion regarding importance of literature & books in our life?

Maria:Books have a huge impact on our lives, the study of languages makes us competent n expression of exact feelings, thaoughts and views, reading books enriches our vocabulary, improves the ability to concentrate, it widens our vision, thus we mobilize our brain to work and develop our imagination.

However, readership in recent times has been declining, despite the fact that books are the major part of entertainment, but it is difficult to find examples that would prove that literature can diametrically change a person’s life. The current literary heroes rarely become idols or role models. The young generation more often draws inspiration from the world of music, cinema and fashion.

In the former times, literature shaped the worldview and foundations, influenced the development of culture and the morality of readers. The book played a much greater role in the past than it is today. Behind all great revolutions and changes there exist the works of great writers and reformers. It cannot be denied that words are always powerful.

SSD:Who are your favourite writers/poets?

Maria:Of course, I have a lot of favorite poets / writers, but one significant poet thanks to whom I started writing is Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, a German poet at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. As a nine-year-old girl, a book with a wonderful linen cover fell into my hands, I still remember the smell of the pages of this book, it was the collection of works by Johann Wolfgangvon Goethe. I was so fascinated by his writing that I reached for the pen myself.I could mention a long time, but I will mention a few authors Mary Shelley, Wisława Szymborska, Eugene O’Neill, Ernest Hemingway and many others.

SSD:How can you bring the prosperity in the society through your writing ability?

Maria:It seems an easy question but it is not easy to answer. By writing, I can only provide joy to the spirit, nourish the mind and soul of the reader. It seems to me that this is the basis of every being’s prosperity on which we can build our healthy relationships.

SSD:Are you satisfied with your life? Any desire/ambition you are looking for?

Maria: I will answer this question briefly, I am satisfied with my life. Everyone is looking for something, strives for the chosen goal, I am no exception but as soon as I reach my goal, I will share it with you.

SSD:Who is your role model & Any person you dream to meet in life

Maria:My role model is every single person who does not give up to gain realization his dreams, who does not give up easily, who no doubt falls but gets up and goes ahead.

SSD:Any upcoming project you are working upon?

Maria:Yes, I am constantly busy, new projects keep appearing. This year will be abundant in the release of my new books.

SSD:What is your mission of life on this planet?

Maria:Love people, unite them together, I don’t want to see them divided, I desire to sow the seeds of goodness so that others may reap the harvest peace.

SSD:Any important thing you want to share about your personality and life experience which can inspire next gen.

Maria:What I would like to convey to the next generations is love. To spread love and allow others to love us. The more we give of ourselves to others, the more we get in return, for without love and empathy, the world would be nothing, but only a dry desert.

SSD:What are your main hobbies apart from Writing?

Maria:I love spending time in the theater, opera or philharmonic, but I am also a fan of spending time actively, I mean in out door work, besides, I love hiking amid the mountains, it establishes my contact with nature.I have one more passion, it is parachuting and an areaodynamic tube.

SSD: Your most favourite poems written by you.

Maria: I like all my poems but the following are very close to my heart

The School of Life

Ups and downs,
Are the most valuable school of life,
Bright and dark recesses,
Journey through the marshes have their own significance,
Without them I would be a barren soil,
Ashed surface, not strong enough,
To live my life with dignity and honour.

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska – Javorka

A Fragile Being
I hover over noiselessly,
On the fate’s eyelashes,
Though I’m a fragile being
In the cosmos,
Yet I traverse the stellar artery
Of ups and downs,
Push my own frontiers,
Rub myself against the firmament
Of divine bounty,
Sip nectar from a cup of his liberality.

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska – Javorka

So That
Might I bear the burden of this divinity,
That you sacrificed on my delicate shoulders?
Today I am renewing my oath,
Given to you years ago,
When on the day of rebirth
Rising from my knees,
I gave you skeleton of my soul,
So that you could build a temple on it,
So that you could find love and relief.

2020 © Ewelina Maria Bugajska-Javorka

***

My words would be soulless,
burdened with sin and disgrace,
if they don’t bear confession of love.

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska-Javorka

A Hanging Bridge
It was a dream or may be a reality,
A hanging bridge and the truth on it.
Raised high above the ground’s forehead,
Between heaven’s perfection and hells’ depths.
And we as travelers with luggage on our back.
We cross from one ridge to the other bank,
Indifferent to each other as if we aren’t there at all
Forgetting that we are human with a power of love.

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska – Javorka

In The Possession Of Time
Between paradise and hell
Something amazing emerges
Miracle of birth and death
Interposed with laughter and tears
Here we are triggered
And woke from trance in hilarity
The pregnant silence slumbers
Beneath the heart, here floods
And famines toss human lives
Here everything flows in its own rhythm
But all in the possession of Time

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska-Javorka

It Will Die Alone
How life would be
Without a flame of hope?
Yesterday was so hot
Today is so cold
The road of future seems so grim
And the journey so miserable
Without any glow.
Fate runs far away not giving a chance
To gain and love remains helpless
Without any faith and hope
It will slowly die alone.

© Ewelina Maria Bugajska-Javorka

Brief About Interviewer:

(S.S.Dogra-is a Delhi based Journalist-Author.
