The inaugural ceremony will be held in Kolkata on December 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/dwarkaparichay.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CineKind-Awards-2025-Where-Cinema-Meets-Compassion.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-71806\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>With the inspiring theme \u201cWhere cinema meets compassion \u2014 Kindness is the new hero,\u201d CineKind aims to recognize filmmakers, actors, and storytellers who reflect kindness, animal welfare, and humanity through their cinematic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Unique Collaboration for a Humane Cause<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative, conceived by the Film Federation of India, represents a milestone in the Indian film industry\u2019s evolution \u2014 linking entertainment with ethics. Partnering with People for Animals, India\u2019s largest animal welfare organization led by Smt. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, the awards seek to bridge the world of cinema with the cause of compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Smt. Gandhi, Chairperson of PFA, emphasized the heart of this initiative:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen we watch a film, we laugh, we cry \u2014 we live the story. But imagine a story that asks: \u2018What about the voiceless?\u2019 With CineKind, we want to shine a light on those stories. Every picture, every scene that honours kindness matters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FFI President Shri Firdausul Hasan echoed her vision, saying:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFilms have unmatched reach. With CineKind, we are saying that kindness should be as celebrated on screen as any action or drama. This isn\u2019t just an award ceremony; it\u2019s a movement to change how we tell stories \u2014 and how we live.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jury of CineKind Awards 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The esteemed jury comprises respected figures from the Indian film fraternity \u2014 Ms. Manju Borah, Mr. Rathnaja Prakash, Ms. Meghna Dharamsey, Ms. Satarupa Sanyal, Mr. Sachin Dev Sudhakaran, Mr. Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Ms. Mimi Chakraborty and Ms. Esha Dutta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Winners of CineKind Awards 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural edition of the CineKind Awards will honour the following achievers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Harsha Atmakuri \u2013 Maa Ka Doodh (CineKind Compassion)<br>Ms. Dolly Vyas Ahuja &amp; Mr. Aryeman Ramsay \u2013 The Land of Ahimsa (Director of Change)<br>Ms. Rupali Ganguly \u2013 Anupama (Actor \u2013 Animal Protection)<br>Ms. Neha Dixit \u2013 In Search of Kasturi (Animal Welfare)<br>Mr. Nitin Vemupati &amp; Mr. S.A. Chandrasekhar \u2013 Kooran (The Kindness in Frame)<br>Mr. Kushagra Dixit, Times of India (Voice for the Voiceless)<br>Ms. Pooja Bhatt, Fish Eye Network (Innovation for Compassion)<br>Dr. Sandhya Sekar, Mongabay India (Visual Storyteller for Animals)<br>Mr. Ashish Goswami, PFA Wardha (Guardians of Kindness)<br>Mr. Mohit Chauhan (The Humane Influence)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All awardees will be felicitated at the CineKind Awards Night in Kolkata on December 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expanding Compassion Beyond Borders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing her views on regional cooperation, Smt. Gandhi recalled her association with animal welfare efforts in Nepal, noting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been supporting movements in Nepal for years. I was glad to see army officials and hundreds of animal lovers participate in Kathmandu\u2019s animal welfare conference. Nepal\u2019s people are gentle and compassionate.
