The first-ever Seminar for \u2018Centralised Registration System and Transfers\u2019 was organised by All India Football Federation at the AIFF Headquarters, Football House on Friday (January 3, 2014). The Seminar was conducted by Mr. Sujesh Rajan, Senior Manager, Registration Department, AIFF. Eight representatives from State Associations from the North Zone attended the Seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cThe Seminar aimed in educating the State Associations as to how the Registration process should work,\u201d Rajan told www.the-aiff.com<\/a>. \u201cThe documentations required for Registrations as to how the Transfers need to be controlled electronically and the mandatory documents required for the Transfers and Registration of Players were highlighted in the Seminar,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Seminar was the first of the five Seminars which are to be conducted by AIFF all over the Country. \u201cWe are following this up with a Seminar in Cochin followed by one each in Goa, Shillong and Kolkata,\u201d Rajan informed. \u201cAll the participants would be from the State Associations who would educate the Club representatives in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAIFF is keen on creating a Centralised database of all Players where the career history of the Player (for the past ten Years) will be on display. The system is being implemented to curb age fraud and to make domestic Transfers more systematic and foolproof,\u201d Rajan stated.<\/p>\n

Mr. Surinder Singh, a participant representing Chandigarh Football Association felt the \u201cinitiative is a positive step.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s imperative to have an online Registration system. It will help the Clubs in verification of the Player\u2019s age, history.
