Vandana International Sr. Sec. School, Sector-10, Dwarka, New Delhi held its Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Function at Thayagraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi as a blend of Music & Drama performances. Chief Guest of the function Sh. Mahabal Mishra, Member of Parliament declared open the function by lighting the holy lamp. The Mrs. Akansha, Director (Academic) accorded a warm welcome to the chief guest and guests of honours and gave their brief introduction Chairman Sh. V. P. Tandon and Manager Mrs. Vandana honoured them with bouquets and mementos. The Cultural Programme began with a group song with melodious tunes. Children of Primary Wing of the school clad in colourful costumes gave their performance and won the hearts of the audience.<\/p>\n

\nVice-chairman Mr. Harsh presented annual report of the school for the session 2012-13 giving an account of academic & cultural performance of students who brought laurels to the school. Ved Educational Welfare Society had decided to honour. Hon\u2019ble Deepak Mishra I.P.S, Delhi Police Special Commissioner (Law and Order) with O. P. Tandon Memorial Award for 2013. Hon\u2019ble Mahabal Mishra M.P. alongwith office bearers of the Managing Committee conferred the Award on Hon\u2019ble Deepak Mishra, on this occasion.<\/p>\n

\nSenior students of the school presented a one-act-play titled \u2018Alexander\u2019 depicting that when one passes away nothing but the memory of one\u2019s goods deeds, goes with him. At the close of the function Mr. Harsh Prakash presented a vote of thanks to all the guests and parents for sparing some of their valueable time for this function. He also thanked the Teachers and Staff members for their whole hearted cooperation in ensuring a grand success of the function.<\/div>\n
