The story is worse elsewhere; Mehbooba at Shamli in U.P. has just lost her youngest kid due to lack of woolens. 40 similar deaths are reported from this area where hundreds of families are still struggling in make shift tents of old bedsheets and sarees after the recent riots. <\/p>\n

\nThere are unending stories every year from all over as winters set in.<\/b> Often blankets and woolens are given away outside religious places, however, the far-flung villages hardly get any attention and millions still sleep in pits or heap of husk to keep themselves warm. <\/p>\n
