Sports lover Mr.S.S.Dogra has appealed to issue Postal stamp dedicated to Sachin Tendulkar on his 40th Birthday. Mr. Dogra has sent request letters to Information & Broadcasting Minister, President of India, Prime Minister of India, President-INC, President-BCCI, President-Mumbai Cricket Association, President-ICC, Sports Minister. Due to regular efforts of Mr. Dogra, Foreign & Commonwealth office, UK has accepted the nomination of Sachin Tendulkar to honor him with Knighthood \u201cSir\u201d. Now, Indian Govt. should issue a postal stamp of Sachin Tendulkar for his valuable contribution in Indian Sports arena. This appreciation will encourage many more promosing young sportsman to perform excellently in their respective sports field. <\/div>\n

With due respect, I may bring to your kind notice that  I am a Journalist by profession and above all a sports enthusiast.  As you know that India has earned lot of name & fame in Cricket.  In the history of Cricket game, Sachin Tendulkar has created several unachievable records.  He is really a role model for many sport lovers in India & abroad.  So,  you are requested to kindly issue postal stamp dedicated to Sachin for his outstanding performance during his long  & brilliant cricketing career.  He is the alone batsman who one hundred centuries in Test & ODI and a member of Cricket World cup winner in 2011. We are lucky to have such a  great sportsman, in our country, who have brought glory for our nation on number of occasions.<\/div>\n
\nNow,  on the occasion of his 40th Birthday (; 24th April), a postal stamp should be issued to honor him.<\/div>\n
\nI think you are a sports lover, so I hope you\u2019ll also agree with this idea and take this matter seriously  to forward it to the concerned Indian Postal Department for further positive and immediate action. It\u2019ll automatically encourage our budding sportstars also because after Sh.C.K.Naydu and Major Dhian Chand,  he would be the third Indian sportsman to get this memorable honour.  This is a mission, kindly support it, because he is the most deserving sports personality in the entire Indian sports arena.
