\nA day long Udyan Mela, fruit vegetable and flowers festival organised by All India Kitchen Garden Association (AIKGA) , UDYAN MELA at Jorbagh on Saturday September 21 was dominated by expensive onions and vegetables.<\/p>\n

“Seeing the increasing prices of Onions and tomatoes, we had kept the theme of the Udyan Mela “Stop crying grow Onions and vegetables at home”. The trend of growing vegetables especially with less or no fertilizers or chemicals is growing across the nation. “said Mrs Bella Gupta, Secretary, AIKGA.<\/p>\n

\n“Despite heavy rain enthusiasm did not stop for the entire day both among the sellers and visitors. festival with stalls selling seeds, seedlings, plants, garden tools, Organic Items, mouth watering food & pickles had crowds even during rain.
