Students of R.D.Rajpal School paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary, at a special assembly. The programme started with the school choir rendering \u201cVande Mataram\u201d. Values and principles of Mahatma Gandhi were elaborated though a speech, a poem and a skit that recreated the historic Dandi March. The nukkad natak on \u201cSwacch Bharat Abhiyan\u201d highlighted the role of students in promoting cleanliness. The dance item, a fusion of western beats and \u201c Raghupati Raghav Rajaram\u201d stole the show. Principal Ms. Alka Kshatriya encouraged the students to adopt and promote clean and hygienic living standards and become responsible citizens of the country.<\/p>\n
