\nBlack clouds roared in the sky
\nThe Sun meekly got out of sight
\nTurning the day into dreadful night
\nClouds rumbled and thundered
\nLightening threatening to kiss the ground
\nBlazing in the eerie darkness
\nAbove the mountains with dreadful sound
\nRain came in torrent with full might
\nThe deluge seen only in blazing light
\nThe holy river in full anger
\nPainted a scene of unseen danger
\nThe force of water swept away all
\nTearing apart roofs, uprooting trees
\nCaused unstoppable free fall
\nBuildings collapsed, vehicles swept
\nWith river flow taking its toll as if
\nFor some unpaid debt
\nRain poured with relentless fury<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n

Dead bodies of men and animals were
\nHeartrending scenes so gory
\nInfinite dreams shattered in no time
It looked like doom’s day by writ divine
\nThousands saw their homes and all
\nWashed away in the river gushing like a dart
\nTheir whole world crumbling before
\nTheir eyes in a jiffy like a pack of cards
\nThe force of water shook the earth
\nAll happened just in seconds
\nLeaving no time for breath
\nEven god’s idol not spared
\nUprooted with one powerful blow
\nIt swept away with current’s flow
\nCorpses riding on the
\nCrest of river’s mighty waves
\nSet on their course on the rise
\nWere seen by tearful eyes
\nThe number of dead and lost
\nTO be counted after the river’s fury dies
\nThe holy sites of pilgrimage
\nAre now out of bound
\nMany ‘Yaatris’ still not found
\nFor encroaching the river space
\nThe humanity has suffered in the past
\nRampant construction with mountain blast
\nRaping the nature for his gain
\nMan has to bear inevitable pain
\nIncalculable loss is but
\nNature’s answer to human greed
\nA heavy price to pay for men’s misdeeds<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
