\nAT A RECENTLY CHANCED MEETING WITH A COUPLE OF SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS THE UNDERSIGNED OBSERVED THAT A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION WAS THAT SO & SO POLICE OFFICER IS A GOOD OFFICER AND SO & SO POLICE OFFICER IS NOT SO GOOD.<\/p>\n

\nWe thought of elaborating on the said topic by finding out the meaning of who is good & who is not and the same is as under:-<\/p>\n

WHO IS GOOD<\/b>
\nA good man is one who is kind and compassionate.
\nA good man is honest and hard working. A good man will tell you the truth.
\nA good man has self control and is respectful when he speaks to anybody and everybody.
\nA good man is willing to be corrected or counseled by you.
\nA good man is faithful and reliable; he is able to forgive you when you do wrong except your illegal & immoral acts.
\nA good man is humble, generous and is a peacemaker as well.
\nA good man knows how to control his temper and has concerns for others.
\nA good man stays confident of himself.
\nA good man fears God and is obedient to his word.
\nA good man is not a jealous man.
\nA good man always has a positive outlook on life & is true to his profession.
\nA good man never finds excuses to avoid doing his & others work.
\nA good man ESPECIALLY WITH REFERENCE TO POLICE OFFICERS always sees himself in the shoes of the victims of crime.<\/p>\n

WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE BAD<\/b>
\nA bad man is one who is always brimming with pride.
\nA bad man is always full of greed.
\nA bad man is always selfish.
\nA bad man is always full of inhuman feelings.
\nA bad man is always over confident.
\nA bad man is always rude.
\nA bad man is always disrespectful to others.
\nA bad man never understands the feelings of others.
\nA bad man is never truthful.
\nA bad man has a negative outlook on life & is never true to his profession.
\nA bad man is one ESPECIALLY WITH REFERENCE TO POLICE OFFICERS who is always putting spokes in others work. A classic example is avoiding Registration of FIR at all levels in the POLICE FORCE.
\nA bad man is apt in generating excuses to avoid doing his & others work.
\nA bad man ESPECIALLY WITH REFERENCE TO POLICE OFFICERS always sees himself in the shoes of the criminals & has no concern for Victims of Crime.<\/p>\n

WITH OR WITHOUT REFERENCE TO CONTEXT:<\/b>
\nThe root causes of crime are poverty, unemployment, underemployment, racism, poor health care, bad housing, weak schools, mental illness, alcoholism, single-parent families, teenage pregnancy, and a society of selfishness and greed……….Patrick V. IN THE PRESENT CRIME SCENARIO CRIMINALS & CRIMINAL MINDED PEOPLE HAVE NO FEAR OF THE POLICE & THE LAW & THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASON THAT CRIME HAS BECOME A PASSION FOR SOME & A PROFESSION FOR SOME (PROPERTY RELATED FRAUDS & OTHER ECONOMIC CRIMES ETC.).   <\/p><\/div>\n
