DWARKA COURT ADVOCATES’ STRIKE SUSPENDED WITH THE INTERVENTION BY DELHI HIGH COURT

The 14-day Strike by Dwarka Court Advocates stands suspended as a result of intervention by Delhi High Court.

The Executive Committee Members of DCBA yesterday met the Hon’ble Chief Justice and other Hon’ble Senior Judges of the Delhi High Court, who are on the Administrative Committee. The Hon’ble Judges assured that the just and logical demand of the DCBA will be sympathetically considered.

In the General Body Meeting called by the Executive Committee of the DCBA on 14th March to take stock of the situation and decide future course of action, it was unanimously decided by the Members to suspend the Strike. Normal working of Court will thus start from 15th March.

The Members also decided that if the Delhi Government fails to consider the DCBA’s just and logical demand in a reasonable time, the Strike will be resumed, and with much greater vigour.
