NK Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka, celebrated Sanskrit week with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, and it culminated on August 10, 2018 which was celebrated as Sanskrit Diwas. The chief guest for the occasion was Dr Ramakant Shukla, recipient of the Padma Shri award.
The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp at the hands of the chief guest. The principal of the school, Dr Rajee N Kumar welcomed the chief guest by presenting him with a sapling. The programme comprised of a number of creative and interesting activities like Prashanmanch, Natikabhiyan, and Swarparichay. Students of classes KG to tenth participated in these activities andshowcased their talent through different mediums. Primary class students participated in Tambola games and Shloka Uccharan. The entire event was held under the supervision of Ms. AkkiVerma, middle wing in charge.
It was a week of fun and frolic, to show the command over Sanskrit language and students were awarded for their efforts. Chief guest addressed the students in the prize distribution ceremony and praised their efforts.
