‘The wonder of teaching is watching caterpillars become butterflies’
The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka hosted a farewell get- together to ceremonially bid adieu to the outgoing batch of 2016-17 on Jan 28,2017. Students of class XI gave scintillating song and dance performances. The performances unveiled an enviable talent of singers and dancers that enthralled everyone present for the occasion. Some exciting games were also arranged which got everyone involved. The teachers showered their blessings on the outgoing batch and the students gave heart-warming valedictory speeches and also recounted their school experiences in an emotional and nostalgic overtones. The school Principal, Ms Archana Narain lent the occasion, the exquisite warmth with her benign presence. In her motivational speech, she encouraged the students to achieve a whooping performance in the approaching board exams. She also reminded students of braving the world outside that awaits with open arms but filled with challenges and uncertainties. The farewell ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by school vice Headgirl Simar Kaur Tuteja. A sumptuous lunch along with cake cutting ceremony brought a befitting conclusion to the function.
