21st Annual General Body Meeting of Saksham Bharti held

21st Annual General Body Meeting of Saksham Bharti held today on 30th Sept 2018 at V.K. Krishna Menon Bhawan, New Delhi. Shri Ram Bahadur Rai (Padma Shri Awarded Renowned Journalist and President of IGNCA) graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Ms Bhawna Gaur (MLA), Sh Sushil Batra (CA & CFO Relaxo Footwear), Sh Pernendu Kashyap (VP, Pioneer Polyleathers) Sh Deepak Gupta (Director, Sun Sign & Technologies), Sh MS Dadu (MD, Colorjet), Sh JP Pandey (VP, Jindal Specialty Textiles) graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
Shri Ram Bahadur Rai in his speech appreciate the Saksham Bharti’s module of Social Service without any government funding and said that every citizen has a duty towards its motherland to make it prosper and developed in all sense. He also said that nurturing youth is like nurturing a future of a nation.
While presenting the Annual Report 2017-18, Saksham Bharti’s president Shri Vinod Kalra said that Saksham Bharti is a reputed Delhi based NGO, working towards working for the skill development and employability of the youth especially the under-privileged and marginalized. He told that we provide scholarship to students at school & higher education level while having program of mentoring and hand holding of few selected students. Saksham Bharti runs four regular Centers, wherein Computer training, Computer hardware training, English Speaking, beauty culture and other vocational trainings are provided at a very nominal fee. We support the students from training till they are employed with help of different activities.

A successful ramp show was organized where students of Saksham Bharti School participated. The show was glittered with dresses, which were self-stitched by the students. Furthermore, a play by Saksham Bharti’s students was performed. Ravi, one of the lead actor and his team played the life journey and struggles to build 4 skill development centers. The Meeting was attended by almost 300 members, volunteers and patrons of Saksham Bharti.
