Blind Persons Association(Regd.) is an NGO which is working for the welfare of blind persons. It is normally believed that the blind people have little or no potential to become socially useful or economically independent. Blind person, by and large are ignored openly or covertly by the community. They can only look forward to frustration of unfulfilled dreams and a dark future. They are deprived of the basic comforts, live a wretched life of ignorance, pain and poverty. But they can look up to a new tomorrow by providing them an opportunity for basic education, nutrition, health and shelter.
Feeling anxious, about the bleak future that such blind under privileged persons would face, this association is dedicated in making it possible to reach their full potential, honoring their capabilities so that they can better their circumstances through their own effort and make them self independent.
This association is also running a hostel in flat no. 586, pocket-A, Sector-13, Dwarka, where twelve blind girls live. They are getting college education and vocational training to full fill their dreams of becoming independent by pursuing higher education.
This organization has no source of fixed income and is entirely dependent on generous donations. it is raising funds mainly through donation from public and shall be grateful, if you could kindly consider the transformation of this noble dream into a reality. Public’s kind patronage and appeal for generous support, which will really prove a big help for blind. It also instills a feeling of sympathy towards the not so fortunate persons of the society. It is certain, your contribution will make you feel better. At present, the association has to bear Rs.30,000/- monthly expenses and to meet those expenses, the association desperately needs financial help from local people.
