Briatoshs Presents First India Media Fest in New Delhi – Inauguration today at 10:30am at at NDMC Convention Centre, Palika Kendra, Near Park Hotel, Parliament Street, New Delhi by Neelam Sonkar, MP (BJP) and Sunil Dang (Sr Journalist) and Sandeep Marwah (Founder, AAFT).
The two-day fest will witness eminent journalists on the panel who will help explore various aspects of 21st century’s media, followed by IMF Behind the Scene Awards.
To promote media profession in India, Briatoshs is organising the first India Media Fest on 16th and 17th March 2015 at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi. The two-day fest will showcase a variety of events, including Panel/Forum Discussions, Interactive Sessions, Career Dynamics Info (industry skills readiness), and Stage Play on the theme of journalism. Students from more than 125 Mass Communication colleges in the Delhi-NCR region are participating in this neverbefore media event, which is being organised in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry – ICMEI, it will give participants a mammoth platform of over 160 countries.
The fest will bring the country’s leading journalists, eminent personalities from the media world, and students of Journalism and Mass Communication on a single platform to discuss, debate, analyze, and deliberate on various opportunities that the field offers, several challenges ahead, and ways to overcome those challenges successfully.
The idea behind conducting this fest is not just to shed light on all these aspects of media and mass communication but also to bridge the gap between what people think and what lies ahead of them. On the other hand, media schools who nurse the ambition of tomorrow’s journalists and media personalities may incorporate the ideas discussed while coaching/ mentoring their students in order to make them future-ready. A host of events are also being planned to make it truly a great fest, which not only informs but also entertains participants.
The Fest will also host IMF Behind the Scene Award aimed at recognizing those who work behind the screen to make the on screen artists what they are…including Best TV Producer, Script Writer, and VO artists. At the inauguration ceremony Life Time Achievement Award.
